Marvin Sachse

Mr. Sachse is the Compliance Group Leaders for one of the States largest California Industrial General Permit approved storm water group monitoring programs, Brash-Auto. His Industrial General Permit experience includes SWPPP preparation, instruction on storm water sampling collection and analysis, BMP implementation and evaluation, and technical expert testimony in site litigation for numerous and various types of Industrial Permittees. He currently lectures at University of Southern California on Storm Water compliance/management.

Mr. Sachse provides employee BMP/SWPPP certification programs for numerous construction industry developers, superintendents and their trade partners, as well as providing on-site storm water sample collection training, storm water Permit compliance training, storm water compliance audits for the construction industry, and prepares and reviews SWPPPs and Storm Water Management Plans. He is a continuing presenter at Southern California and San Diego Building Industry Associations Storm Water Workshops, and the Associated General Contractors Association of California Storm Water Workshops.

His background includes environmental management for; land development, construction sites, printed circuit board manufacturers, automobile manufacturing, CRV and metals recycling facilities, and various manufacturing facilities. He has developed storm water treatment systems and numerous innovative BMPs for the manufacturing and scrap industries. He has earned a Master of Science Degree in Environmental Engineering, a Master of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. Mr. Sachse is a State Licensed Professional Engineer, a Certified Professional in Storm Water Quality (CPSWQ), a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC), a Certified Erosion, Sediment and Storm Water Inspector (CESSWI), a Certified Professional in Storm Water Management (CPISM), a certified CPSWQ, CPESC, and CESSWI instructor, and a State of California QSD/P Qualified SWPPP Developer/Practitioner, QISP Qualified Industrial Storm Water Practitioner, and a CASQA approved Trainer of Record (ToR) for both the CG Permit and the IG Permit, and is a member of the Industrial General Permit Training Team (IGPTT) and the Passive Treatment Task Force.
