Dr. Sinclair is an Environmental Specialist with LA Metro Transit Authority’s Environmental Compliance and Sustainability Department, overseeing responsible implementation of construction water and waste management practices for capital projects. She has a doctorate in educational technology, additional degrees in urban ecology, language development, choreography, economics, literature and leadership. Dr. Sinclair is co-author of the award-winning book, Designing Healthy Communities and Building Resilience – Los Angeles, serves on the US Green Building Council – Los Angeles Chapter Construction Committee, and curates their blog, Snapshots on Sustainability.
Dr. Sinclair is a certified trainer for G-PRO and ENVISION. When not working in the environmental space, she has spent twenty (20) years teaching and consulting in public and private schools, colleges, certification courses and for multi-national clients. She is recognized for creating traditional and online dynamic instructional and assessment materials at the local, national and international level.
In her spare time, she races sailboats and is a certified scuba diver.
