Rick Hajas is a Project Manager in the Civil Engineering field and is currently working with RJR Engineering in Ventura, CA. He has over sixteen (16) years of experience in civil engineering design, review and project management. He currently serves as Chair of the CPISM Program Committee for ECI.
Mr. Hajas earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in history from the University of California Santa Barbara, in 2001 and a Juris Doctorate from the Southern California Institute of Law in 2006. He holds several certifications including Qualified Stormwater Designer/Practitioner (QSD/P), Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC), Certified Profession in Stormwater Quality (CPSWQ), and Certified Professional in Industrial Stormwater Management (CPISM).
His engineering background and legal education blend the professional concerns of law with regulatory compliance, planning, environmental, building and stormwater regulations. He lives in Ojai, California with his spouse Mallory, his daughter Ava and son Dylan.
