Francisco Urueta and his wife, Lilia Urueta, reside in Las Cruces, NM. The Urueta’s have 3 children and 7 grandchildren. His 2 sons and their families live in the Dallas, Fort Worth metro area and his daughter and family live in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Francisco enjoys golfing, walking, and traveling with his wife.

Mr. Urueta graduated from the Universidad Autonoma de Ciudad Juarez (UACJ) in 1980 with a bachelor’s degree in science of Civil Engineering. Since graduation, he has gained over 35 years of experience in Civil Engineering to include erosion and sediment control and stormwater disciplines. He is a licensed professional engineer registered in New Mexico, Texas, Arizona, and in his country-of-origin, Mexico. Mr. Urueta is also a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control, is an approved instructor in CPESC, and has conducted CPESC training sessions in Mexico, Colombia, Chile, and Peru.

Mr. Urueta is a Senior Vice President for Private Client Communities with Miller Engineers Inc, d/b/a Souder Millers and Associates (SMA). SMA is an employee-owned company with offices in Wyoming. Utah, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas. He is responsible for Private Clients, A/E Industry, Contractors, Renewable Energy and Telecom. His responsibilities include:

· Quality Assurance/Quality Control

· Business development

· Assure proposals and contracts incorporated appropriate scope and fees

· Develop and adhere to corporate budgets

· Develop and strengthen client relationships

· Client and program management

· Act as Engineer of Record and project manager as required

Mr. Urueta has worked as consultant engineer for Fortune 100 companies in USA, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, and Mexico and has completed projects for New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT), Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) and Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT), the Federal Government, and many cities and counties in the Mountain States.

In addition, he serves as Director (Iberoamerica Liaison) for the Board of Directors of Envicorert International Inc. (ECI), Chapter President for International Erosion Control Association (IECA) Iberoamérica Chapter and Director in the Board for ACEC El Paso, Texas Chapter.
