Arnold Wang is an Environmental Specialist with over 15 years of diverse experience in the field of water quality management, with an emphasis on construction stormwater compliance and NPDES support under the California Construction General Permit (CGP). Mr. Wang has reviewed and developed Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPPs), Caltrans Water Pollution Control Programs (WPCPs), Erosion and Sediment Control Plans (ESCPs), and worked with CAD to create water pollution control drawings (WPCDs). He has managed projects under the CGP, prepared Permit Registration Documents in SMARTS, developed Change of Information (COIs), Annual Reports, and Ad Hoc Reports, and successfully terminated permit coverage using RUSLE2. He is experienced in conducting site inspections and monitoring for compliance with California-statewide stormwater requirements of Traditional and Linear Underground Project (LUP) sites, stormwater sampling, SWPPP training, and overseeing Best Management Practices (BMPs) installation for both public and private clients. He has also prepared health and safety plans, work area monitoring summary reports, and performed field air/soil/water/PCB sampling.Mr. Wang has been a Certified Erosion, Sediment and Stormwater Inspector (CESSWI) since 2011, and a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC) since 2013. He is also a certified QSD/P, CGP trainer of record, and QISP. He is an active member of the California Stormwater Quality Association (CASQA) Construction Subcommittee and served as a member of the CESSWI Steering Committee tasked with reviewing and providing feedback based upon findings of the new CESSWI manual. He is currently serving in the Certification Committee for both CPESC and CESSWI.
