Anthony Willard

Anthony Willard is an environmental permitting and compliance professional with more than 15 years of experience supporting energy, natural gas, midstream infrastructure, power generation, consulting, and regulatory programs. He specializes in environmental permitting, regulatory compliance, stakeholder engagement, and project execution across federal, state, and local jurisdictions.

Currently serving as a Permitting Coordinator III at EQT Corporation, Anthony manages environmental permitting activities for midstream projects, coordinating with project teams, consultants, and regulatory agencies to secure approvals and maintain compliance. Previously, he held senior environmental leadership roles with Equitrans Midstream Corporation, where he managed multi-state permitting programs for pipeline and compressor station projects and led agency coordination efforts with organizations including FERC, USACE, USEPA, and USFWS.

Earlier in his career, Anthony held environmental compliance positions with Berkshire Hathaway Energy and Dominion Energy, provided consulting services for energy infrastructure projects with GAI Consultants, and served in regulatory and enforcement roles with the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection.

Anthony holds a Master of Science in Agronomy from West Virginia University, with a research emphasis in minesoil hydrology. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and Extension Education from West Virginia University, developing a strong foundation in soil science, environmental systems, business management, leadership, and communications.
