EPA Proposes to Restore Protective Pollution Standards for Washington State Waters

EPA announces a proposed rule this week to restore protective federal water quality standards for the state of Washington. EPA is accepting comment on this proposal for 60 days and will hold two virtual public hearings on this proposal scheduled for Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 9am – 11am (PDT) and Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at 4pm – 6 pm (PDT).
